Join us for an in-depth discussion followed by a Q&A panel on 8 common myths and misunderstandings about the foundation of the state of Israel. We’re going to dig into questions like “Did Arabs support the Nazis?” “Have Jews & Arabs ever gotten along?” and  “Who really is indigenous to the region?”

The evening will feature a presentation facilitated by Aaron Whitrock, from our Education Team, followed by a panel discussion with:

Fatima Abdullah: Human Rights Activist

Steve S. Smith: Winthrop University Professor, expert on anti-war movements and school desegregation

John Cox: Director, UNC Charlotte’s Center for Holocaust, Genocide & Human Rights Studies
